I am a professional writer, justice seeker and advocate with a passion for building change through writing.

I enjoy working with organizations in community development, physical and mental health, social services, social justice and education. When I’m not answering phones at my day job, competing in poetry slams, or trying to smash the patriarchy, I enjoy singing, expensive cheese, and coffee from The Common.

I have a Post-Graduate Certificate in Professional Writing and Communications from Humber College and a Bachelor of Arts with Honours Degree in International Development from Trent University.

As part of my ongoing learning, I have attended workshops on anti-oppression, working with LGBTQ+ communities, and race, power and privilege.

I’ve written for human rights and LGBTQ+ organizations, holistic health care practitioners, community arts collectives and post-secondary institutions. I have experience building websites, designing posters, developing marketing campaigns, managing social media accounts, and writing articles and reports.
